Kami Tea Company is a Japanese tea company inspired by my field study in Japan. The name is derived from a Japanese word translated to mean god or deity. The various teas featured are named after prominent deities within the Shinto religion, a common religious practice in Japan. The logo was inspired by kitsune masks. Kitsune are a figure featured within the religion as being messengers/guardians. Kami tea utilizes traditional methods, culture, and visual representations that are native to Japan.
